You don’t need to be anywhere if you don’t want to be, but if you want to be taken seriously as a professional, whatever type of business you run or whatever your role within the business, then yes, you do need a presence. 

Common metrics are:

Visitors – the amount of people who have visited your business page.

Followers – the amount of people following your business page.

A profile is about you. It lists your credentials such as work history, endorsements, qualifications and a summary bio. It will include your photograph and it is through your profile that you can build meaningful connections with other business owners.

A page represents your business. It is effectively a showcase for your business and a way to demonstrate the value that you can add to your clients and potential clients, for example, you might share tips and tricks, industry and company news and information about what you offer in terms of products and services.

Sales Navigator is LinkedIn professional. It has advanced filters that we can prospect more effectively, honing in on your ideal client by job title, geography, years of experience etc. It also comes with lead generation support and in depth-sales insights, so it’s a pretty powerful tool if your main goal for using the platform is lead generation.

If a person on LinkedIn chooses to share their email address and gives us consent to use it, then yes. We never use third party software to harvest LinkedIn user details – it is a sure fire way of getting your LinkedIn account blocked.
